I felt like I was transported back to Paris in this chic modern French restaurant, tucked in the heart of Old City Philadelphia. ✨🥂
As we entered this intimate, European chic restaurant, we snuggled into a roomy round booth with cushions galore, and the server handed us a complimentary glass of champagne. And as Plane to Champagne, you know I loved that! However, it was Valentine’s Day, so don’t expect this royal treatment everyday!
We selected a four-course prix-fixe for Valentine's Day, and I was truly blown away by the flavors. ESPECIALLY the chestnut bisque served over a bed of crab salad with citron-nori crème. Forsythia, if you're reading this, please put this on your main menu! We also enjoyed a duck heart ragout rigatoni, filet mignon, and a decadent chocolate & Speculoos crepe cake. Each course came with a perfect wine pairing. And after 4 glasses of wine + a glass of champagne, you can imagine we were feeling a little extra happy as we left! loll.
Where they really scored for me was the decor. With garden green accents, the adorable tile flooring, & chestnut wood fixtures— I felt completely cozy and at-ease while we dined on their delicious dishes.
The atmosphere, food, & staff were all absolute perfection. I’d give it a 10/10!
