FLYING OVER THE POND? THINK AGAIN.

Thinking about flying across the pond for a little-getaway? YOU THOUGHT WRONG. Well, of course go to London… but I wouldn’t suggest flying if you’re coming from another European country if you have the option not to.

The best way to travel from Paris to London or London to Paris is without a doubt the Eurostar train. It might be a little pricey when booked last minute, but if you plan in advance you’re golden.

So what’s the big deal? Both in Paris and London the (many) airports are all on the outskirts of the city. Sure you might’ve saved 50 bucks with the discount airline… but wait did you actually??? Taking a bag? You’re charged for that. Getting to CDG? Hassle on the metro or 55 euros for a taxi. And don’t even get me started about the 1 trillion different airports in London.

If you take the train, you are going from city center to city center making your ground transportation when you do get to your destination A LOT easier.

Be warned though~~ it might be a train, but there are airport-esque security measures. Not sure how it will change with Brexit in effect, but I can’t imagine it will get any easier. So you should arrive about an hour before your departure.

Hope I saved you a future hassle!! Cheerio or au revoir or whatever!!
